About Job
We have an excellent opportunity for a Claims Handler to join an existing Before The Event (BTE) claims team of this legal insurance specialist. The role involves handling all BTE claims (excluding motor) ie Family, Landlord and Commercial BTE claims. Claims Handler role includes responding to policyholders who submit claims under the policy, assessing claims and managing the progress of accepted claims to conclusion. This involves managing and liaising with the appointed solicitor throughout.
About You
The ideal candidate is someone who has a genuine interest in the law and demonstrates an enthusiasm to learn. This is a client facing role. The candidate needs to have excellent verbal communication skills and be confident when speaking to policyholders directly on the telephone. They will need to have excellent customer care skills and be used to working in an environment with strict service standards. (Ref: RDT174)
