Opportunity to join an Insurer with ambitious plans to grow and at the same time offer an exciting proposition for the North West broker market and their customers. Exciting new role for a Business Development Manager, who is passionate about growing profitable relationships with Brokers, looking to utilise skills and experience to build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.

About Role
BDM role is to proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with a designated panel of brokers and stakeholders to deliver strategy and increase opportunities for the business. Design and implement set development plans and proactively develop a robust pipeline of appropriate new business opportunities. Prospect potential new opportunities and markets and effectively promote and deploy company strategy, product range and propositions.

About You
Looking for good understanding of underwriting & risk management principles, strong product knowledge, plus mid-market knowledge and generation experience is desirable. Requirements include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, established networking and relationship building skills and the ability to develop reciprocal relationships with intermediaries. Significant technical Insurance or Financial Service/retail background in a consumer-oriented environment an advantage. ACII qualification or equivalent is preferable. (RDT243)
