Opportunity for a Trading Underwriter (property & liability) to join an existing commercial underwriting team, proactively developing and profitably growing a commercial book of business.

About Role
The role involves visiting brokers to develop, build up, and strengthen working relationships, as well as ensuring continued visibility in the market. Regular tasks will include managing new business as well as dealing with renewals and mid-term adjustments. Utilising skills to mentor and develop others and working collaboratively within a team and support senior members. Working towards underwriting licence levels as appropriate to job grade.

About You:
Candidates must have previous Property & Liability underwriting experience, with the ability to analyse risks and communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers. Possess good knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation and have a strong commercial business acumen to create and deliver business cases. (SB261)
