About Company
Opportunity to join an Insurer with ambitious plans to grow and at the same time offer an exciting proposition for the Manchester broker market and their customers. Looking for a Lead trader to drive profitable growth through Mid-Market and Corporate clients with a turnover of around £250m upwards and develop key relationships.
About Role
Underwrite new and existing business profitably and leading meetings, presentations and tender responses to secure new business opportunities. Proactively lead the development of strong trading relationships with panel of brokers and proactively develop a robust pipeline of appropriate new business opportunities. Act as the referral point for Senior Underwriters and actively manage and review underwriting standards.
About You
ACII qualification desirable. Role requires excellent negotiation, sales and relationship building skills, mid-corporate underwriting experience and experience of/high level of technical product knowledge of large case and portfolio management in the Commercial Property and Casualty sector, including client exposure. Established networking and relationship building skills and ability to identify and convert business opportunities also required. (RDT205)
