Excellent opportunity for a Senior Development Underwriter (property & casualty) to join a Birmingham team of this Global Insurer, proactively managing the submissions, quotes and binds for new business and delivering against target quote and conversion ratios.
About Role
Managing the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business primarily comprised of moderate to complex accounts across all products. Underwriting and skilfully negotiating moderate to complex risks to minimise risk and maximise profitability, including MTAs. Proactively managing a portfolio, ensuring KPIs are consistently achieved and actively target new business and retention.
About You
Previous experience of underwriting in Property and Casualty classes of business is essential, plus proven experience identifying and developing new business opportunities and general knowledge of the local insurance marketplace. ACII qualification preferred. (RDT344)
